COVID-19 GUNMA PREFECTURAL CALL CENTER
COVID-19 Hotline run by the Gunma Prefectural Government is the number for individuals, who suspects they might have the COVID-19, can call to ask about when and where to see a doctor.
Anyone who has symptoms described below should call the hotline.
-Have difficulty breathing, serious fatigue, or high fever
-Elderly people and people with underlying heart or other medical conditions are more vulnerable to infectious diseases than others. Therefore, when they are coughing or have a fever and other mild cold symptoms should call the hotline.
-Besides the individuals listed above, those who are coughing, continue to have a fever and other mild cold symptoms should call the hotline.
*Individuals with these symptoms lasting for four days, please make sure to call the hotline for consultation. Although different people have different degree of seriousness in showing these symptoms, do not hesitate to call the hotline if anyone thinks it is serious.
After consultation, the Center contacts the caller’s local hokenjo (healthcare center) if it is a suspected COVID-19 case. The caller will be contacted by their local hokenjo and instructed which hospital to go to.
Important Points to Remember
Go to the hospital you are told to go by the hokenjo.
Please do not make the rounds of hospitals.
While you are at the hospital, follow the usual hygiene procedure, including wearing a face mask, washing hands, covering your mouth/nose with the sleeve of your jacket to cough or sneeze.
